3rd Danish national race was held Viborg RC racing club, on their nice big outdoor buggy track! Some new to the track was a table top with 2 steps down just in front of the 3x double jumps, this made the flow on the track very good, but also the key to go very fast was in this section!
Both my XB2'16 and XB4'16 was on point faster some teamwork with the XRAY mates on the Saturday practice. I was fastest guy on 5 minutes in both classes, so I was happy.
On race day, the cars also felt amazing but the traction was lower than yesterday so we had to make small tweaks to the setup.

In the 2wd class I got very bad qualys after been taking out in the first round after been in 2nd place I only could make a 5 an 6 in the qualys, the car felt slow also in the corner, but in the main I found a better setup, so the car was good again.
I made in the first final a 4th place, the second one a 3rd place, and the last main I drove completely without mistakes to take the win, and get 2nd overall! This was very good with a start from 6th on the grid. Jesper Rasmussen who started 2nd behind the TQ man Frederik Hovgaard had 2 good first mains to take the overall win, and he sat out of the last main.

The 4wd class, my XB4 was amazing all day, I was leading the first qualy but got hit from behind after overtaking another car, so I lost 6 second, I got back and got the 2nd place in this round.
The 2nd qualy i had a mistake in the start but got back after a lot of pressure to take the TQ in this round, the last round I had no mistakes to take a very convincing TQ round, in front of Jesper and Frederik.
Unfortunately, my good and fast team mate Christian Lassen had electronic problems, so he could not make the a-main because the car was stopping every run. - Next race mate!

In the first two mains, I just pulled away, and gapped the field with some seconds, I just took it easy in the first main to secure the 1st place, I was the only driver on 19 laps. Frederik Got 2nd after a battle with Jesper and he got 4th after Anders Aagaard with his XRAY, very good by this young gun! Just taking the 3rd place only 3 tenth in front of Jesper!
2nd main I tried to push from the start and I just accelerated away from the field! I won this main with 6 seconds, even after I had a crash on 3 seconds! Agian the 2nd place got took by Frederik Hovgaard and this time Jesper would get the 3rd and Rune Gustavsen 4th in this main!
3rd main I didnâ™t drive, for not getting involved of the 2, and 3rd places finishes, Jesper got a good start as Frederik made mistakes and got take out! Now we could see Young Marcus K?rup battle it out with Jesper! He tried everything to get by, and over the grass/astro jump they came together, and Jesper would stay in the front to win the main. In front of Mathias Skaarup and agian Anders Aagaard made a 3rd place finish!!
